I confess to errors in my writings, seen in the light of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and in view of our innate knowledge and awareness of the reality of an Eternal Creator God who has created the Universe. I will address each paragraph and error in turn, attempting in my limited way to sift error from truth.
I have been led to these errors by false pride, and a denial of the reality of the Creator of the Universe, God.
[A new specter is haunting the entire world, the specter of Gaia Nemesis. From whence this next uncanny visitor comes and what does it mean for the future of humankind? Like a herd of animals caught unawares by a predator, every power of the world turns, to face this new menace; the powers fail. They have come to face the very power of nature herself.]
The entire world is caught up in growing concern for the "health" of the planet.
We are called to be stewards of the creation. But while the specter may be real, it is also a specter being raised up in the hearts of men. Our concern for the earth should not spill over into false considerations of the ancient earth-goddess Gaia, for we should have no other gods, but God. Further, nemesis, as retribution, or destiny's guide, is a role properly reserved to God through His Son, Jesus Christ, and is not to be seen as coming solely through the workings of nature.
God is the Creator, nature is that which has been created.
[The entire surface of the planet has been traversed by the human animal. Mankind has set his foot upon every threshold, entered every door. He has even stood upon the moon.
How is it, after all these millennia, that the human animal still divides his species into tribe and city, city and state, Nations; economic life is governed by competing corporations, companies, firms, concerns and collectives? A vast network of Identity Structures resides in the mind of the human animal, dividing humankind against itself.
We call this vast network of Identity Structures, covering the entire planet, the Gaia Mosaic.]
This repeats the error of drawing attention to gaia instead of God. Second, it speaks of the human as if human kind were sole animales, merely animals like the rest of the animals on the earth. Man is created in the image of God, has a special place in the creation, and has an Eternal Destiny, not a mere earthly destination. This world is not our true home. It is a mystery how man divides himself by identity, how we come to have subjectivity. In the final analysis every Soul is unique before God, and all identity is contingent; identity is not an end in itself, and the end of each unique person is as a subject of the Eternal God. I should repeat for emphasis that the concern should be for the human person, not whatever clothing identity has lent to the person.
[We argue to the obvious: This vast network of Identity Structures, the Gaia Mosaic, is vital to human survival and is driven by necessity to its very core. We identify the process that links the human mind to nature for the purpose of survival Gaia Nemesis.]
1. It is not so very obvious. Identity may have nothing to do with the necessities of survival. A) It is God who sustains man and creation. B) Further, mankind is equipped with rational facilities that allow him to make use of creation for the purpose of sustenance while we are in the body, in the world of the creation.
2. While the flesh, the body, has its needs, we are not driven by absolute determinism; we have free will. Nor is our end the life of the body in this world. The current life in the world is the means, and the journey, to salvation through Jesus Christ and the Resurrection of the body in the world to come.
3. We are in nature, but we are linked to nature by the life of the body. The human intellect and will are free from enslavement to nature. Where the human will and intellect are enslaved is through enslavement to sin, false and inordinate attachment to things that are created and the life of the flesh.
4. To reiterate, to be more clear: we are not driven by absolute necessity, but possess perfect freedom, guided by understanding through Grace.
[What we have come to term culture, from its highest manifestation in religion, historical meaning, ideology and state, all the way down to the simplest customs, is vital to the survival of humankind. All human culture is predicated upon the necessity of human survival, individual and collective.]
True religion is that which pertains to the salvation of mankind, that which leads mankind to Eternal Life in the Kingdom of God. The salvation of the human race is the true meaning of the historical drama. Various aspects of human culture are driven by the demands of sustenance and survival, but True Culture is that which instructs humankind for the purpose of our Eternal Salvation.
[Food preparation, child rearing, music, dance, socialization practices, eating utensils, cars, planes, highway signs, every electronic device, communications equipment, weapons, clothing of every design and color, art- all exist to guide us through the paths of life for the benefit of our own personal survival, or according to the survival needs of the entire human organism, the human species.]
At issue here, again, is the question of the ends of mankind. Our final destiny is not in this world which passes away. We know from human science that this world will not last forever: our destiny lies on a new heaven and a new earth reserved for those who have chosen salvation through Our Lord Jesus Christ.
[Just as we do not often notice the vast atmospheric pressures that serve to prevent the blood in our veins from boiling away into the atmosphere, so are large numbers of human beings unaware that each moment of their lives, conscious and unconscious, are part of the very struggle for survival. Who today stops to consider where their food came from? Who grew the plants and who raised and slaughtered the animals? What human hands fashioned their clothes, even down to the most intimate articles of clothing?
They say: "I have gotten these things for myself, through my own power." But they have not.
Nature has provided.]
The True Struggle is for the salvation of mankind- we do not seem to be fully aware of the importance of this struggle- it is the only struggle that matters, in the end.
While we must make allowance for the flesh, we do not live for the flesh. While we should strive to bring necessities to our fellow humans who are struggling to stay alive, we should always remember that the focus of our concern should be salvation through Our Lord Jesus Christ. Above all, we must look beyond nature: God has provided.
[All that makes us who we are, how we express ourselves, how we experience ourselves as individuals, has come from elsewhere, has come from outside. Transportation and communications networks bring goods, materials and information from every point on the globe, putting food in our mouths, clothing over our bodies and ideas into our brains. We are all part of the Gaia Mosaic, a vast artifact, a symbiotic structure that allows the human animal to interact with nature.]
All that makes us who we are has come from God. Now, who we have become, and are becoming, is the record of the degree to which we have submitted our will to the Will of God who created us. We are created for God, not for nature. To place nature, or an artifact, the gaia mosaic, before God, is to break the very First Commandment: Thou Shalt have no other gods before Me. Place God first, and all other things will follow in their due course.
Against the concept of the gaia mosaic:
First, Lovelock's attempt at a grand synthesis of nature, and my understanding here, have failed to take into account the Creator of that very nature, without which any order or even life is possible. The use of the term gaia is disingenuous- if it is not meant to invoke a self-sustaining living entity, then why invoke the name of an ancient earth goddess? So the use of the word gaia as a sign or symbol hovers at the edge of a type of pantheism masquerading as science. The gaia mosaic as a concept contains the fundamental errors of self-sufficiency and a denial of the Creator. Nature is not self-sufficient- the creation relies on the sustaining power of its author, the Eternal God, who creates the universe (not only the planet earth) out of Love, as an act of Love.
[The world we live in is networked into a vast system of symbolic meaning, the Gaia Mosaic. Symbolic ideological systems from the ancient past are still with us, shaping our lives, shaping our identity. Entire peoples still exist, still carrying in their minds Identity Structures from ancient days.]
We might speak of God's mosaic as a communication of meaning to the created world, through human persons, such persons by analogy comprising a mosaic of the souls of the Blessed. The incidentals of our lives (knives, forks, spoons, etc) are just that, incidentals. From God's communication of meaning, and the resulting orientation of our existence to meaning within God through His Son Jesus Christ, come living symbols. That there is so much correlation between so many symbolic systems suggests a high correlation with the Universal Truth of God, clouded and obscured within the minds of men, or deliberately twisted through the works of the enemies of God.
[Along this path, as we have mentioned, are innumerable other identity structures the individual could participate, exist within. The process of cathexis, that which governs our choice, is the process we term Gaia Nemesis.]
What does govern our choice? This is beyond my capacity to fathom. I know that Grace works within me, but do not understand at heart what propels me to chose, unless it be Love. So this process of cathexis, this emotional bonding that governs our choice, is the motion of Love acting upon our hearts. As God is Love, so to chose God is to chose Love. When we chose something other than God, we chose to love something that is not God. Our hearts are called properly to love God, and to love and respect the persons and creatures who are within our care. This includes our own selves, not out of selfishness, but out of due respect to the Creator who gave us life.
On subsistence: We do not live by bread alone...
[In truth, every Identity Structure on the planet today exists as part of humankind’s organization for subsistence and survival, the Gaia Mosaic. Each facet of identity shifts, unnoticed, according to the needs of survival. We are barely aware of this constant shifting, this constant reconfiguration of individual identity. We either do not develop the focus of introspection required to take notice, or we mistakenly understand long periods of homeostasis to mean that identity is static, fixated.]
As a reiteration, we do not exist as mere automatons for survival, but as human persons with free will, created for life not just in this world, but for Resurrection into Eternal Life in the world to come.
[As various facets of human identity and organization become unnecessary for survival, they are dispensed with. They disappear from the face of the planet. Civilizations evolve, and then fade away. Nations fade. Corporations fail. Family identity runs off into untraceable streams. Like the animals we study in their natural environment, our focus constantly shifts. We too are animals in our natural environment, from isolated villages, from the vestiges of hunter-gatherer bands in the last rain-forests, to hyper-individuated lives in the human mega-cities; we are all living within the human natural environment.]
While in our corporeal life we resemble the animals around us, humankind has a higher calling to understand and commune with God, our Creator. To focus on God (to love the Lord God with all our hearts and all our strength) takes us out of a life of mere animalia and sets us on the path to the Eternal Life to which we are called, a life of Love Eternal with God in Heaven.
Consider the survival of the remnant of the Jewish people as a continuing revelation of God's promises, and the continued life of the Church as the unfolding of God's plan for salvation of humanity.
[Nemesis comes from the name of the ancient Greek goddess of destiny and revenge. Nemesis has come within the modern lexicon to mean enemy, or dire opponent. The original meaning carries the implication of a force acting upon the mind, a mesmer, conducting the individual toward a moment, an epiphany of destiny and understanding.
Thus, Gaia Nemesis is our term for: The process that inducts the human animal into nature. We want to apprehend this moment of cathexis, we want to identify this movement, this motion within the mind, wherein the brain is engaged by reality at all levels and moves through time, moment by moment, constructing an artifice of meaning for the purpose of survival. We mean to unveil nature, and reveal an ultimate truth: All levels of meaning within human existence have as their ultimate purpose the subsistence and survival of the human organism, from each mundane moment, from every drink of water taken from a cup to everything that mankind has come to deem holy.]
This must be sifted carefully:
1. [Nemesis has come within the modern lexicon to mean enemy, or dire opponent.]
For careful readers this is a clue: Nemesis is the enemy, the dire opponent.
2. [The original meaning carries the implication of a force acting upon the mind, a mesmer, conducting the individual toward a moment.] Who and what is acting upon our minds? Who is mesmerizing us? God does not mesmerize, but come to us in Love, communicates with us through the Word, instructs us through the intellect and guides our will and moves are hearts. A mesmer is a spell. So what is is to be mesmerized but to be under a spell?
3. [All levels of meaning within human existence have as their ultimate purpose the subsistence and survival of the human organism, from each mundane moment, from every drink of water taken from a cup to everything that mankind has come to deem holy.]
Only if survival and salvation are equated, where survival is meant to mean endure, go, hold out, hold up, last.
In breaking this statement into three parts we can look into the heart of the deception. First, we are under the spell of a dire enemy, constructing an artifice of meaning within our minds. What could be a better description of the way in which Satan attempts to deceive us, enthrall us, lead us into the idolatry of this world, enslaved to nature which passes away, nature that goes unto destruction? The third statement then contains enough of the truth to make this deception seem plausible.
But what is Holy is God, Creator of the universe, the Almighty and Glorious King who reigns over Eternity. And we are called to holiness.
So we are not to conflate part 1 and part 2 of this statement, rather, to understand correctly that "... meaning within human existence [has] as its ultimate purpose the subsistence and survival of the human organism, from each mundane moment, from every drink of water taken from a cup to everything that mankind has come to deem Holy."
True meaning within human existence [has] as its ultimate purpose the subsistence and survival (salvation) of the human organism, from each mundane moment, from every drink of water taken from a cup to everything that mankind has come to deem Holy.
[Constant repetition attends human training and education. Mankind undergoes auto-hypnosis. Mankind is self-domesticated. Mankind engages in self-programming. Mankind is shepherded through life through the formation of identity, through multi-layered Identity Structures, the Gaia Mosaic- a man-made mental construct. The sheer force and weight of identity is inescapable, relentless and unbearable. The brain receives the deepest possible level of programming, down to its core behavior patterns, wherein meaning itself is scripted. Mind, self, soul. This is the field wherein the human animal faces the struggle for existence, within a symbolic network of language and culture.]
Rather than attempt to unravel this tangled thread, let it be said that the soul is where the struggle for salvation takes place, a struggle between the forces of Good and the power of Love, and the forces of evil, of absolute hatred.
And we are led, shepharded by the Word of God which comes to us by way of divine Revelation, then reveal wholly and completely to us in the person of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
Language and culture- the Word, and the cultus, the cultivation of souls.
In our cultivation are we being called to bring forth the fruits of the spirit unto salvation, or tares and weeds fit only to be burned?
[We will use this argument to pierce the veil of nature, and reveal the most intimate workings of the Gaia Mosaic.
Religious Identity rises to the fore as humankind matures, both as a collective, and as individuals. The totalitarian, hypnotic force of religious identity imposes itself deep into the very core of human consciousness. In times of increased pressure, crisis, human identity shifts and is absorbed. How do these vast, over-arching Identity Structures, these meta-ideological systems, these religions, relate to the basic survival of mankind? The return of religion as a driver of history and Identity must be reckoned with. The question is once again in the forefront as never before. It can no longer be dispensed with. The Divine-Nature loop is now closed: The great religions of the world are essential to human survival. They are ineradicable. Even the unbelievers must now see this essential truth- religious systems, belief systems, Identity Structures, are programmatic systems of thought and behavior that guide humankind for the purpose of human survival. Patterns of thought and action are intrinsically intertwined with religious identity. In the vast concatenations of meaning, of identity, all the bits and pieces that make up the identity of individuals, peoples, nations, humankind as a whole- religious identity resonates most deeply, sounds the deepest, everlasting sound, calls the greatest number to its soaring and majestic cadences. The human population of the planet sways ever to and fro entranced within the vast rhythms of these planet-wide systems of meaning.
We must abruptly shift our focus to the most simple of things, to the most mundane moments, to every drink of water taken from a cup. Where does it come from? It is not so simple a question. All across the planet parched lips cry out in thirst. Mankind pretends not to notice. In the great cities the depthless man answers, "I turned the handle of my faucet, and the water came out." Like an animal in a cage at a zoo he forgets that he lives a life of domesticated captivity. Humankind is an animal that has built a zoo for itself, and willingly enters. We know life it good there, so why question? But today the question must be forced upon us because our very survival as a species is at stake.]
1. The great religions of the world are essential to human survival. They are ineradicable.
2. But today the question must be forced upon us because our very survival as a species is at stake.
(1). To illuminate: The Word of God, faith in Jesus Christ, is ineradicable by its very nature. Judaism holds the promises of the original covenant. We have seen attempts to eradicate Judaism. As for Islam it is hard fathom, for God promised Abraham that his offspring would fill the earth, the offspring of Abraham being Ishmail, from Hagar, and Isaac, from Sarah.
(2). Our survival, our salvation, our survival and salvation are indeed at stake.
[Humankind is outstripping the water resources of the planet. Exposure to thirst, and death by dearth of water, is the true meaning of hell.
The desert tribes understand this. They know what happens to a lost soul that wanders in the desert. The force of discipline necessary to survive in the desert is intense. The authority of the gods, then of the One God, and the terrors of hell are deemed necessary to keep the human herd on the correct path. Humankind is being prepared. The force of the desert religions, from the line of Abraham, is on the rise as the planet dries out, and human populations run out of water. And where the terrors of hell appear to be deficient to keep humankind on the path, great numbers of our fellow humans seem quite willing to supply it.
The human population is moving again, out of the torrid zone, moving north and south. Identity is changing rapidly to accommodate these changes within nature. The discipline of Islam is imposed upon wider and wider swaths of the human population. Israel returns to the center. Jerusalem, at the edge of the great desert, becomes the central focus of all human existence on the planet. Human identity is being rapidly re-configured to meet the mounting challenge to our survival as a species.]
All across the planet parched lips cry out in thirst- they thirst for the living waters of the Spirit of God. Humankind is being prepared. Jerusalem is the focus of all that is about to happen. Mankind is being transformed, awakened to faith in Jesus Christ all across the planet. The terrors of death and hell will be brought against us and will not prevail. The Lord will shepherd us through the wilderness.
[The vast network of Identity Structures, the Gaia Mosaic, is vital to human survival and is driven by necessity as its very core. What we have come to term culture, from its highest manifestation in religion, historical meaning, ideology and state, all the way down to the simplest customs, is vital to the survival of humankind. All levels of meaning within human existence have as their ultimate purpose the subsistence and survival of the human organism. All human culture is predicated upon the necessity of human survival, individual and collective. Survival is the underlying force driving culture. We want to emphasize the importance of historical meaning, and the importance of understanding historical meaning, and historical identity, authentically within the context of our understanding of Gaia Nemesis.]
Survival unto salvation is the true motivating force of the human heart, and its strength is engendered by the Love of God, who is Life and who is Love. This is not a survival in the life of this world, but into the Eternal Life, and the Resurrection of the body and the life of the world to come. Our survival does not come through a man-made artifact, but through the saving grace of of the Love of the Father, expressed in the life and word and teachings and sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.
[We are reminded that within Greek mythology Nemesis has two faces. We must now turn and regard the other face of Nemesis.]
[The War is like a fire that burns through and across the human population. It is always there. Somewhere within the world of humankind there is a war and human animals, primarily male, are drawn toward The War.
If we wish to stay true to the understanding of Gaia Nemesis that we have thus far fathomed, we must argue that war is also necessary for human survival. War serves a purpose, however unfathomable it may appear at the moment. In our reflection on war, we want to dispense with every truism and all the conventional wisdom that has been offered. We want to put aside arguments dealing with genetics, survival of the fit, elimination of the unfit, considerations of how mammalian males across the planet struggle for territory and mates, all of the simple, one-to-one explanations that have hitherto been offered. We will even put aside for a moment the argument that wars occur in areas that have momentarily, or permanently, outstripped their ability to support the current level of population. Putting these things aside one by one allows us to continue our quest: To apprehend Gaia Nemesis at the very first vibration of movement within our minds, at the moment we are pulled into mental structures of meaning. Every culture shapes and understands violence differently. Every culture, every Identity Structure has explicit, implicit, and then occluded rules governing violence. Who will live, and who will die…and why.
These rules are all governed by nature, through Gaia Nemesis, for the purpose of human survival. Gaia Nemesis draws The War across the planet, governing acts of violence in minutia. What happens within the mind of the human animal, within the brain, that propels that animal outside of its strict domestication to kill its fellow humans? And further, to kill other human beings on an increasingly vast scale?
To stay our course we must continue to argue that necessity is the driving force of war. All human behavior is necessary for the purpose of the continued survival of the species.
Nature quickly dispenses with large numbers of humankind in war, as if the human material drawn into The War have been deemed useless, expendable. And while the human animal is indeed drawn into, or again, cathected into, war in large numbers, The War also visits many unaware, or at least unbidden, wiping all trace of their identity off the face of the planet.
Thus, we will have to steel ourselves to apprehend Gaia Nemesis as a predator, when she is at her most hideous, or most alarmingly beautiful. And reflected therein is the true face of man the animal.
All human history, History As-Is, what humankind has done, was done for the purpose of human survival; was done out of necessity. We must caution ourselves at this dangerous juncture that we cannot know why these things have occurred. We once again demand that all facile attempts at devising various and sundry secondary meanings only cause us to lose our focus, to lose sight of our prey. We reiterate: All human history, History As-Is, what humankind has done, was done for the purpose of human survival; was done out of necessity.
In order to remain theoretically authentic we are led through treacherous and perilous regions. We must describe certain behaviors of the human animal, presented as history, and then ponder their meaning in the context of defining the workings of the Gaia Mosaic and the process of Gaia Nemesis.]
[Thus, we will have to steel ourselves to apprehend Gaia Nemesis as a predator, when she is at her most hideous, or most alarmingly beautiful. And reflected therein is the true face of man the animal.]
"Man the animal." Like the witch Circe, when she reduced men to the level of pigs.
This is another clue for the careful reader concerning the identity of gaia nemesis, whereby the masquerade fails: gaia nemesis is a hideous predator who can appear alarmingly beautiful. Mankind, created for a higher, Eternal Destiny, is reduced to the level of animals, then taken to the slaughter, brought low into utter destruction.
[And reflected therein is the true face of man the animal.]
This is the ultimate lie of Naturalism: that man is merely animal. By exchanging the truth of God for a lie, man is reduced to the level of the animals. But since man is created in the image of God, man-as-animal is far worse: Man mesmerized by gaia nemesis, the enemy, the hideous predator, works evil. War, and the fury of destruction and merciless killing fills the hearts of men who have forsaken the Love of God. Satan goes about as a predator, seeking to consume us. Satan as the enemy of God and man seeks to defile and destroy the creature man created in the image of God. Oh Lord, let us not be deceived! Oh, man! Be not deceived as I have been! Repent of your evil ways lest Satan come upon you as nemesis and devour you.
[This is what the human animal looks like as an animal in nature.]
How true! But man is something called out of nature, by the very truth that we are created in the image of the Eternal God.
Human history is a record of the struggle between the forces of good and evil, between man as animal, man as Beast, and man as divine creation.
[We now face in the century ahead a reconfiguration of the Gaia Mosaic of even greater intensity, and on an even greater scale. We are facing the rapid, planet-wide reconfiguration of human identities for the purpose of human survival. The very idea of what it means to be human will be called into question. It is for this purpose that we have unveiled Gaia Nemesis, driven ourselves by necessity, and the struggle for the survival of the human species. Does identity matter? We believe we have produced sufficient argument to answer in the affirmative. We want to begin to apply our theory to the real conditions at hand, and begin to chart a pathway into the future.]
But gaia nemesis has been unveiled as a hideous predator and enemy of mankind.
So what kind of configuration are we speaking of? Mankind is indeed being corralled. The sheep are being separated from the goats. The shepherd gathers his flocks to lead them to salvation, the predator gathers her prey to lead them to destruction. What could be more clear? For you who have stumbled in this way as I have, do not let yourselves be deceived! Call upon the shepherd, Jesus Christ, that you may be saved! The Lord will save you from the evil spell of the enemy who hates you. The Lord Jesus Christ will lead you to the Heaven of all those who love God.
[The Tesserians likewise become aware that they are engaged in a struggle to survive, and that their struggle is a struggle for the survival into the future of the entire human species. They have come face to face with Gaia Nemesis. As each individual Tesserian becomes aware of the struggle for the survival of the human species as a whole, they become Tesseractoi, that is, those who struggle for the future- the Advanced Guard of the Tesserian class.]
[They have come face to face with Gaia Nemesis.]
I have come face to face with what I have written concerning gaia nemesis; I have come face to face with a hideous predator seeking the final destruction of mankind.
I have become aware that the struggle to survive is in reality the struggle to endure unto Salvation, through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is Risen, and the powers of Death and Hell and the enemies of God will not prevail against us.
He has purchased me at a great price as a just expression of His all-abiding and unfathomable Love.
